Terms of Service
Effective October 31, 2026
These Terms are an agreement between you and 2Sides ("2Sides", "we", "us") for using get2sides.com and the 2Sides review service, including leaving reviews, responding to stores, and taking part in disputes. By using 2Sides you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Review & Content Guidelines and the Dispute Resolution Rules. Stores that install 2Sides also agree to the Merchant Terms.
2Sides is in early access. Some features described here may roll out gradually.
1. Who can use 2Sides
You must be at least 18 and able to agree to these Terms. 2Sides is currently offered in the United States.
2. What 2Sides does
2Sides lets verified buyers review products and stores that use 2Sides. Next to a review, 2Sides shows facts about that order (for example delivery status) and the store's response. 2Sides is not the seller of any product. Your purchase is between you and the store, under the store's own policies.
3. Your reviews
- Reviews must be about your own genuine experience with an order you placed, and must follow the Review & Content Guidelines.
- You may edit your review. Edited reviews are labeled, and earlier versions stay visible to the store and 2Sides.
- You keep ownership of what you write. You give 2Sides and the store a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce and distribute your review (including your first name and last initial) in connection with the store's products and 2Sides, for as long as it is published.
- A store may remove a review only for a reason allowed by the Review & Content Guidelines, such as being clearly false, fake or abusive, and not just for being negative. You'll be able to see the store's reason, and you can contact 2Sides if you think it's wrong. 2Sides may also remove a review that breaks the Guidelines or the law.
- Don't accept payment, discounts, refunds or other benefits in exchange for writing, changing or removing a review, unless the Guidelines allow it and you clearly disclose it.
4. Store responses and case files
A store may post its side under your review, and may keep a private case file about your order for its own records. Case files aren't shown publicly. You can dispute specific statements in the store's side under the Dispute Resolution Rules, and you can ask for the personal information 2Sides holds about you as described in the Privacy Policy.
5. Disputes
2Sides decisions are based on the evidence available and are about what 2Sides displays. They are not legal judgments, and they don't decide refunds, chargebacks or any legal claim between you and the store.
6. Conduct
Don't post false statements of fact, other people's private information, threats, harassment, hate speech, spam or anything illegal. Don't impersonate anyone, submit fabricated or altered evidence, or misuse the service or try to get around its security.
7. Emails
Review requests are sent on behalf of the store you bought from. Every review request has a one-click unsubscribe link. Messages about a dispute you are part of are service messages and are sent even if you unsubscribe from review requests.
8. Our content
The 2Sides name, logo, software and website belong to 2Sides. You may not copy or reverse-engineer them except as the law allows.
9. Disclaimers
2Sides is provided "as is" and "as available". Order facts come from stores, Shopify and carriers. We work to show them accurately but can't guarantee they are complete or error-free. A delivery record shows delivery to an address, not who received the package.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, 2Sides is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the greater of $100 or the amount you paid 2Sides in the 12 months before the claim. Some states don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
11. Ending use
You may stop using 2Sides at any time and ask us to delete your information as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or end access for anyone who breaks these Terms.
12. Disputes with 2Sides
If you have a problem with 2Sides, email info@get2sides.com first. We'll try to resolve it informally within 30 days. If we can't, these Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and claims will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Oregon. Either of us may instead bring a claim in small claims court in the county where you live, if it qualifies.
13. Changes
We'll post changes here with a new effective date, and give notice before material changes take effect. Continuing to use 2Sides after changes take effect means you accept them.
