Privacy Policy
Effective October 31, 2026
This policy explains what personal information 2Sides ("2Sides", "we", "us") collects through get2sides.com and the 2Sides review app, how it's used, and your choices. 2Sides is currently offered in the United States and is in early access.
Two roles
For shoppers' order information, 2Sides acts as a service provider to the store you bought from. That store decides how its customer information is used, under its own privacy policy. For our website, our own records and our dispute decisions, 2Sides decides how information is used.
What we collect

How we use it
To send review requests on a store's behalf; publish reviews and store responses; show order facts to the people involved; run disputes and record decisions; prevent fraud, abuse and fake reviews; keep logs of who viewed or changed records; answer support requests; and meet legal obligations. We don't use personal information to train AI models.
Who sees what
- The public sees a published review with your first name and last initial, the reason you picked (if any), delivery facts shown as timing rather than calendar dates (for example "delivered 3 days after ordering", or "not yet delivered when this review was posted") with the carrier's name, how the store responded, the store's side, and any 2Sides notes. Never your address or tracking number.
- You, the store and 2Sides reviewers see refunds, returns, chargebacks, policy checks, tracking numbers, delivery photos and dispute evidence for that order.
- Only the store (and 2Sides reviewers when needed) sees the store's private case files.
- Service providers we use to run 2Sides (for example hosting, email delivery and file storage) process data on our instructions. Today these include Cloudflare (website hosting and email routing).
- Legal reasons: when required by law, or to protect people's rights and safety.
We do not sell personal information or share it for targeted advertising, and we do not share a store's records about you with other stores.
How long we keep it
- Review-request data is deleted 30 days after the last reminder if no review is posted.
- Reviews, disputes and related evidence are kept while the review is published, and for up to 2 years after it is removed, to handle disputes and legal claims.
- Activity logs are kept for 2 years.
- When a store uninstalls 2Sides, its reviews stop being shown and its data is deleted within 30 days of Shopify's deletion request, except records we must keep for an open dispute or by law.
Emails
Review requests include a one-click unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing stops review requests; you may still receive messages about a dispute you are part of.
Cookies and similar technologies
The app uses a necessary session cookie to keep you signed in. The website loads fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address, and our host Cloudflare may set strictly necessary security cookies. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies. We honor Global Privacy Control signals.
Your rights
Depending on your state (for example California, Colorado, Oregon or Virginia), you can ask to access, correct, delete or get a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of certain uses. Email info@get2sides.com with the subject "Privacy request". We verify requests before acting on them, respond within 45 days, and won't treat you differently for making one. Some information may be kept where the law requires or allows it, for example during an open dispute. If we deny your request, you can appeal by replying with the subject "Privacy appeal".
If your request is about order information a store controls, we'll pass it to that store and help it respond.
Security
We use encryption in transit, limited staff access, access logs, and tamper checks (digital fingerprints) on uploaded files. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your information, we'll notify you and the store as the law requires.
Children
2Sides is not for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
We'll post updates here with a new effective date. Before using personal information in a materially new way, we'll give advance notice and ask for consent where the law requires it.
